Abstract :

SUMMARY: Electric burns are considered one of the most drastic traumas to which an individual can beexposed; directly or indirectly affecting almost all the systems of the human body. This type of trauma has local and systemiceffects that are poorly understood by most health personnel.The objective of this article is to offer a complete explanation, allowing the reader to better understand the pathophysiology ofthis type of trauma and therefore manifest in the daily actions of health personnel.
