Non urothelial bladder cancers are no less than a histological surprise, owing to the rarity of this group.The article presents a case series of 25 patients of non urothelial urinary bladder cancers presented in JIPMER Hospital, Puducherry over a period of four years(2014-2017) .Details of patients were reviewed from medical record section and Pathology department.Total 25 patients were included in the study.20(80%) were males and 5 (20 %) were females (M: F :: 4:1). Mean age of the patients was 58.3 years ranging from 30 to 80 years.Seveteen (68.0%) out of twenty five patients had hematuria as their presenting complaint.Out of 25, there were 14 (56.0 %) squamous cell carcinoma, four had small cell carcinoma(16.00%), six adenocarcinoma(24.00%) and one leiomyosarcoma(4%) .Twenty four (96.0 %) patients out of 15 were referred for upfront surgery . One pt. was not willing for any treatment. This study highlights the role of surgery and status of adjuvant therapies in the management of non urothelial bladder cancers.
