Comparison of infective complications between transrectal and transperineal prostate biopsy in suspected carcinoma prostate patients.

Abstract :

Prostate cancer (PCa) ranks third as the cause of cancer-related death for men and is responsible forabout one-fourth of newly detected malignancies in the western world. It is alarming to note that about 4.04 million years ofhealthy life are lost annually due to prostate cancer. The study is designed to compare infective complications of transrectal andtransperineal systematic biopsy considering both clinically and microbiologically identified infective risks and complications.
